Members of Fullerton University’s Fashion Association club collaborated to compile a seasonal wardrobe refresher for their fellow students by pooling their expertise and firsthand knowledge of current fashion trends.
The club president shared his thoughts on what spring style means to him. His name is Logan Shust.
“Spring fashion is kind of the beginning of the year, a new set of trends, and it also shows a lot of what you have in your wardrobe, what you’ve been waiting to wear, and it’s time to bring the colours back,” Shust said.
According to Shust, acid wash, cool colours, and button-ups are essential for spring.

According to Grace Tran, the fashion club’s Instagram manager, spring fashion entails wearing bright colours like pink and adding layers in preparation for the unpredictable weather.
According to Tran, spring style is all about expressing oneself through clothing that is not only functional but also attractive.
The club’s secretary, Franchesca Palomar, reflected on how spring fashion inspires thoughts of pastels, florals, and a more feminine aesthetic.
The colour pastel signifies spring to me, so that’s what we wear. “We’re blossoming and shifting from winter to fall colours, so think of it as swapping out your old colours for new, brighter ones,” Xzachary Rositas, the club’s social media coordinator, said.
Rositas recommended wearing crop tops and miniskirts, as well as flowy items, layers, white, and beige clothing this spring.

Shust remarked that button-up shirts are ever-popular. He said the current trend is for striped, full-color, and other prints made of wool or cotton that feature a lot of earth tones like browns, tans, and dark greens.
According to Palomar, long skirts are a must-have for the spring. They stated that vests, long denim shorts, Doc Marten shoes, and parachute pants are all current trends.
Spring is a great time to layer, according to Tran, who noted that she had noticed an increase in the use of turtlenecks, vests, and cardigans among her springtime wardrobe companions.
Cardigans for women were among Tran’s suggestions for the spring wardrobe, as they help with temperature regulation throughout the day.
Rositas suggests that males this season stock up on jackets, cargo pants, sneakers, sunglasses, and hats.
Headphone accessories are at the top of Palomar’s spring fashion wish list, while Rosita’s is all about the stylish phone cases.
“Absolutely do it if it makes you happy and you can relax. As with the term “fashion,” the meaning of “fashion” varies depending on the individual “- Tran. “Even if my taste in clothing is different from someone else’s and we disagree on the points I’ve made above, I think fashion has the power to unite us all. Also, warm weather is on the way, so don’t overthink your wardrobe.”
